* Novel cycles including varable air system (cooling and sealing) for fuel consumption and emission optimlization
Advanced turboshaft/turboprop/APU novel cycles needing demonstration for TRL6 in 2035:
* Turboshaft/Turboprop/APU with exhaust thermal recovery (heat exchanger beakthrough technology, bottom cycles,)
* Constant thermodynamical cycle with variable geometry.
* Compound turbine / piston engines.
2050:
* Cycles with interturbine reheat: innovative combustion device for low pressure drop in flowpath.
* Innovative combustion cycles: constant volume deflagration, detonation, Flameless,
* Compound turbine / hot temperature fuel cell.
